This was inspired by neat and tidy country club styled courses. It has very narrow fairways and tiny greens, but the rough isn’t too penalizing. I have 18 holes laid out and some basic planting. So far it’s like Troubadour Country Club settled down and had kids.

I'm close to being ready with 'Calvert Country Club'. The course has narrow fairways but rough that isn't too penal. The greens are minuscule and have plenty of slope on them. This course is definitely a close relative of 'Troubadour Country Club'

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
