It looks fantastic, mate. I really hope to play it tonight, if internet at home works.

Played this yesterday... instantly one of my favorite courses in game. All of your courses just seem to be getting better and better, and honestly I'm not sure how much better a Lidar course can be. Love the course, the greens, the wide fairways, all of it is so good.
Also love Perry Maxwell and his work, especially his greens. So strategic and compelling... too bad he was only able to work on a small amount of courses due to the depression, but the ones he created like Old Town are so fun!
Great job as always sandsaver01!

Thank you Scoll, I really do appreciate your kind words and the suggestions you make on the WIPs. The Lidar data was very good for this course, so I did not have do any fiddling on the greens - I hope they are like IRL. Bandon Dunes which is coming next is a different story. I wanted to take a break from "classic" courses, but I will get back to those soon.

Thanks for putting this one out there. Loved how the wide fairways seem perfectly married to the (at times) severe land movement. Can't mindlessly bash away despite the width.

Played this many times on 21. Still do. Such a fun and challenging course. Any chance of porting it to 23?

Played this many times on 21. Still do. Such a fun and challenging course. Any chance of porting it to 23? I haven't ported most of my LIDAR builds from '21 because like Old Town they would require quite a bit of work to make the greens playable since '23 is much more sensitive to slopes and speed. I would be happy to give the .course file to anyone who wanted to mess with it and port it under their name, because I also thought it was a nice track.
