Anyone else looking forward to this on PS4?
It will be available April 10th and a demo just hit the PS Store today.

I remember completing the original while at university.

Probably in the minority but I played the demo and was a little disappointed.
Visually spectacular as you'd expect, but the combat was a bit too button bashing for my tastes. Also worth remembering that this release is only 1/3 of the story, with the other two instalments to be released as stand alone full price releases later down the line.
Might pick it up once the price drops but the Resident Evil 3 remake is out April 3rd so that gets preference

Trying to acclimate to the newer combat system. I prefer the older turn based as I grew up on FF games during my teenage and early adult years, but I also enjoy trying to acclimate the urgency and 'real time' effects as well.
Not at all putting down any opinions, etc. about other games/etc. I was simply just looking for opinions, etc. and for those that may be big FF fans etc.

i've played every final fantasy since VII (except the XIII sequels) so I should know this, but haven't followed the development of this remake at all. I'd been thinking of it as just a remaster with upgraded graphics...but I guess its much more than that. Is there a quick rundown of how this will be different than the original?
