What is the one "ahah" moment you have had that made you play better? Looking for help on improving my game quickly Changing my putting stroke for fast greens. However unless you are a "feel" putter like me it won't help you though. I changed my putting stroke to a shorter backswing but more forceful follow through. When I did that I started lagging so many putts into and around the hole. You just can't power through the break on fast greens at longer distances.

What is the one "ahah" moment you have had that made you play better? Looking for help on improving my game quickly I use a controller and for a while I'd been pushing up on the analog stick before starting my backswing. Kind of like a "forward press" when you putt in real life. It seemed to help start my back-swing off straighter and smoother but I still have this wicked slice from time to time. The slice haunts me... >__< Charting the clubs yardages helped a lot too... I set up my own little driving range in the designer, sat with a pen and paper to get the kind of average carry and roll-out I was getting from a club in "ideal" conditions. There is a spreadsheet around here with the carry yardages in it. It's super helpful.

I found with the yardage chart that I tend to push the thumb stick through quite briskly so I usually hit the ball with a couple of yards extra carry so I made my own chart.

A smooth swing (rough swing = rough lie) with a little hesitation at the top helped me a lot!
