On the "Import Terrain and Features" tab the checkbox for "Add background Terrain/remove Cliffs" has a sub-box For "Background Scale" that has 16.0 entered in it. Do any of you other Lidar designers know what effect making this number larger or smaller has on the plot or on the Plant Meter? I suppose I could do some experiments but if it is known I do not want to waste the time. If nobody knows I will probably try it out myself.

I have never changed that particular scale but I have experimented with the map scale. Changing that one has a huge impact on the file size and plant meter so I would imagine the background one may have a similar effect
