My second course has finally arrived! Working on this course on and off for close to a year, while taking on other projects to keep my mind fresh, I have finally come up with a product worth publishing. I will say without a doubt it's 100 times better than my first. Thanks everyone who helped out along the way. You know who you are. I've gotten a bunch of tips and advice on this, and if you notice I didn't take some of it, it's mostly because I am pretty over redoing holes, but i'm taking all the feedback with me to the next project. So enjoy your round(s).
Thanks, Justin

See if you can spot:
7 sheds because why not? A rope swing A broken window 5 homemade rafts An A-hole parking job A Car wreck (not the course itself) A 300 yard range marker
Edit: And a boat trailer.

Congrats on the publish! I’ll give this a run today! Thanks I think you'll find the greens a little more user friendly. When's your follow up to Feeley's coming?

I’ve been swamped with work so I haven’t had a chance to really get into anything. However, with the CC design contest being so far out, it fits in my schedule. So it’ll probably be that one.

Alright publishing error already. A V2 has been published without any 600 yard par 3s

Played this last night and came through to read the thread today. An impressive amount of planning obviously went into everything here.
Curious, how did you like building the plot up from below the water, instead of lowering the plot down to the water?
That "before" picture was eye opening with water covering the entire plot.

Curious, how did you like building the plot up from below the water, instead of lowering the plot down to the water? That "before" picture was eye opening with water covering the entire plot. Actually, it wasn't bad. I lowered everything to the water so i knew where to place the brick walls height wise. Then i figured the building height and placed all those first. Then the walls. Then I raised the entire plot 10 feet and resculpted down to make the canal. I just had to remember to raise the green and fairway area on 10 and 11 before doing any bunkers. If I remember 13 was the only bunkers I ran into the water table. I didn't realize how much i was lowering that area as I was working until I had bunkers disappearing and turning into mud. The only part that really got me frazzled was the bunkers on 18. I was well above the water so I didn't plan on issues but I never thought about the buildings I used for the road. There's only about an inch of sand in the low part of those bunkers. I was really holding my breath when I hit publish. Also remember to rake the sand back in or the next guy will be hitting off asphalt.

I'll also add there wasn't much of a plan. I was just playing around with objects. I didn't have any intention of building this whole course. The only holes that actually were preplanned were 10-12, 16, and 18. The rest were fit into the plot. What was there. Anybody that played the lido would notice I axed my par 3 because I couldn't make the routing work and be believable. And the driving range should be an indication that I ran out of room for the clubhouse area. I actually abandoned the plot for about a month when whodatmatt34 started posting wip pics of Silvershire and his canal is 10000 times better (ya big jerk). But I'm glad I got back into it and an happy with the product.
