Golf needs another big personality to make money from games again. Woods sold because it was woods not because of the game. There is no golfer at the moment that is capturing the community at the moment Tiger still does. But that's an expensive licensing deal. |

I think Tiger was good for our game because he consistently won. Since his downfall, there really has not been any one player to achieve that year after year, not just in one year. I thought Jordan Spieth was going to do something like that but where has he been? Same thing with any of the top golfers. Consistency at the top.

It wasn't just that he won. It was his charisma. The way he why about it is like nothing we have seen before or since.
He was as close to a happy Gilmore type character that good has seen
Rory could win every tournament for the year but he is still as boring as a pair of socks

He isn't playing as much but he is still playing at a higher level than most thought he would. Golf consistency is hard. Golf is hard. All the top guns get humbled by the game eventually. Tiger is still playing well for the most part. His name will be marketable long after his talents are gone. |

Augusta National also announced the Masters (April 9-12) will be postponed, meaning the PGA TOUR is on competitive hiatus until, at least the RBC Heritage, which currently due to start on April 16. |

It's bleak. Tiger Woods was the peak of golf games. I highly doubt we will ever see a new game from HB. At least we will be able to play it on new console which we could not with tw14. Maybe we should all go back to Links  The Arnold Palmer Course Designer was pretty damn good too. If this game was links 2003 with everyone on pc, that would be the bees knees |
