SkyBlueBenBen, I might suggest that you include an open invitation to Daniel to join us whenever he can. It may give someone a leg up if he plays a course and likes it.

Guys, this sounds great and I am in as well, time permitting. Just remember though, regular Dirtbag rounds are a priority. This could be a big hit for the D-bags and the designers. Win-win. That’s why I kept it to 2 rounds over a week Bill. Shouldn’t take up too much of people’s time. Dirtbag rounds must always be the priority.
It's perfect. I usually wrap up my Dirtbag rounds on Wednesday or Thursday and then take a break for a day or two before playing a practice round for the following week's TGC course on Saturday. I'll just play my two rounds here on Thu/Fri.

That is why this course finished second in our competition. We all did not agree but the majority did. SkyBlueBen Ben, this is a slippery slope and if you have addressed it, then I missed it. The true value of this to me is to give designers pros and cons about the course without hurt feelings. Where are we to go to point out things we see? Here? I think this hits the nail on the head with course selection... some like and others don't.

I do plan on playing when I can if ya'll with have me... I'm a middle ranked PGA player though, so feel free to not include my scores in your league table I am a bit busy with WCOD stuff right now, but when that's finished... I'm in!

Thank you for the kind words about the course. I would like to evoke some old facts about it. As you may know it comes from an old design from Links2001 game back in 2005 (ouch!).
I started this design as a rehearsal to Bethpage Black that I co-designed shortly after. You can feel it a little in the mood of the course, the main reference being obviously the 4th tee shot, a tribute to the famous 5th tee shot at the Black course.
The course had several versions and looked quite different at the beginning. I changed some holes and cut a lot of trees as the first version was heavily tree-lined. The last Links2003 version was released in 2010 and is rather close to the one you play now.
Just for the fun here are some screen shots of the old Links versions
The 1st tee (Links2001) : when I said heavily tree-lined...
The 4th tee (Links2003) : you can see I already loved short pants and colourful shirts
The 18th approach (Links2003) : there was already a very specific club-house...
Who knows where the time goes...

I would say the feedback should be in this thread Bill.,As I said to Martin, score reporting is not necessary, but thoughts and observations welcome. Some of the designer's will have posted a thread for their course in the Completed Courses folder on the forum. I bumped Broken Arrow up to see if it gets any interest or comments outside the Dirtbags and so you guys could comment there if you want.

Thought for this I'd have a bit of fun each week and record my first round as a treat for my 3 YouTube subscribers. Instead of "A Round With The Designer", we'll have "A Round With The Duffer". No mic at this stage as I don't have one for my PC headset and I'm not technically gifted enough to decide whether my Xbox headset mic will work. Both Turtle Beach and I think you just shove it in the only available hole and hey presto....probably. To be fair I have been told my drony Cov accent is akin to listening to paint dry so perhaps silence is golden.
So here's Week 1 at Broken Arrow Champ. by Dominique Bois. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip round this very nice looking and well designed track with it's share of risk/reward holes. It was a pleasure to play Dom. Anyone who watches will no doubt realise why my scores are so poor lately with some gob smackingly awful shots and the round saved by some get out of jail putting. Onwards!
