As far as I see it, gamesdecent, you should just be lucky they are sorting the field before judging starts for WCOD. I shudder to think where you’d be after failing to make it out of a group to a course without a single plant and a hilly subdivision. As for me, Marie’s Dunes continue to nurture and sustain me and I plan on milking them until they’ve ran dry.

By the way, there is zero purpose to the order of those names, so don’t draw any false conclusions. What are the 'category' groupings? What does that mean? Category 1 - high chance of selection, Category 2 - med-high chance, Cat 3, etc. etc... ? EDIT: Nevermind - I re-read the OP... "Who Gets Chosen: There are no invites, but it's also not completely 'open' either. Weighted consideration will be given to applicants in this fashion: 1) a contest winner within the past two years, 2) a top-5 finisher in any contest within the past two years, 3) competed in at least two design competitions (exc. rookie) within the past year, 4) wild-card slots chosen by the contest directors"

I know everybody is getting nervous, so let me just put this here to make you... MORE nervous! Here is the current list that Crazycanuck1985 and I have to mull over on Friday night: From category 1 on the priority list:b101 mayday91283 mattf27 reebdoog staypuft39 csugolfer60 ryanjmcconnell From category 2 on the priority list:cib0rg bspetty24 sindrerev joegolferg violinguy69 So a rookie win from way back whenever is better than 2nd places in both the previous WCoD AND previous major? Is that what we’re saying? Trying to get my ducks in a row before McConnell texts me talking sh%$. I mean if I hadn’t been top 5 in a year and a half I don’t think I’d even accept an exemption but that’s just me. Can’t speak for them. 1) a contest winner within the past two years Winning a Paralympic Gold is not the same thing as winning an Olympic gold

I really hope I get drafted by ryanmcconnell in this year's dream team competition. I want to be able to say we were led to victory by a category 1 superstar. Sorry gamesdecent category 2 is just not leadership material in my eyes

Hello, I think my design skills are worthy of an entry in this competition. My courses are successful in the fantasy category but I can hone a new course for this more realistic endeavour of a major venue.
My 3 most successful courses are: SS's - Dystopian SS's - Drifting Rock Ranch SS's - Volcanic Cliffs
They all have 1000's of plays and high ratings. give us a shot Brett.

I hope I’m in the contest so I can start to plan where I want my bridges in my fairways!
