Has anyone gotten dq'd because of putting? I believe there has been API pulls for putting. Putting was added to the fair play checks sometime in the last... I want to say 12 months or so.

Has anyone gotten dq'd because of putting? Yes, a couple of months ago i was. On the course was fine but Putting swing plane was following the exact same path everytime. We tried a different controller and that was and has been fine since.

Urgetofly was pulled this past week for putting. Seems they have been tightening that, maybe a bit too much?

I love TGC Tours but this one i don't thoroughly understand. The movent of the stick when i putt is normally very minimal in both directions which seems to me would be easier to keep the same plane, in turn cause a failed API. I'll try a new stick to see if that makes a difference.

I get what you're saying here Fadge but in IRL golf...the putting stroke is a short stroke so it can be a mentally challenging thing to make a "fuller swing" for putting when that doesn't feel right at all.

I get you, I'm a RL golfer. All I'm saying is that if you make a fuller backswing, it might help. I actually only flick the stick forward when I putt. Pushing it right forward feels very odd to me. It should be a stroke, rather than a cave man hit IMO. I do make a full backswing though. I find distance control to be very sketchy if I don't pull the stick all the way back (which gives a backswing line that stops short of the bottom of the feedback channel). No doubt, for me at least, I could putt more accurately (regards straightness of stroke) this way, as the data points for the putting stroke are more condensed, but it's not something I can get on with for distance.

That's fair Fadge (Inserts thumbs up Emoji)

Granted I'm sure most here get much closer to the pin, but how about those longish putts, of over 30 feet long ? You sure do need a much longer stroke for those. Some of the longer ones I can't even reach at all. Those are the ones that I hope go into the fringe so you can at least take a chip shot instead.
