Can we please not combine pro clubs players with master clubs? Why can't we have a lower tier of divisions with just pro players and an upper tier (just below the pros) of just master clubs players? It's frustrating to have things skewed when it comes to Top 100 and losing promotion marks because there are so many pro clubs players who are at an advantage.
Why is this not something we can do?

I think you probably need to read the many previous threads on this topic.

It's frustrating to have things skewed when it comes to Top 100 and losing promotion marks because there are so many pro clubs players who are at an advantage. Why is this not something we can do? 1. Only so many tournaments can be set up. 2. Not all lower tier players want to use pro clubs. 3. Not all mid tier players (CC-Pro) want to use master clubs. 4. The CC players only compete against players using the same club set (promo marks are handed out evenly to the pro/master fields). 5. Rearranging players based on club-set would be a temporary fix until a new game is released. I understand the frustration, and I actually agree with you, but there are limitations to what TGCTours can do, and there isn't overwhelming support for any changes among community members.

2K didn't acquire The Golf Club and a multi-year PGA TOUR license to slap their name on one game and wipe their hands.
Have to figure there's something in the works, or else HB would all be fired.

What happens to tgctours if a new game comes out. Do we keep the current societies for a while or do we all have to switch over straight away

In previous 'switchovers' there has been a 6-8 week period with no tour events while everyone gets used to the new game, and Doyley and co get this site properly configured for the new game (how to auto pull scores, make sure the API is working properly etc) There will be a few 'trial' events, and then it goes live on the new game asap.
From 2 to 19, it came out about 2/3 weeks before the end of the (real life) PGA season - so the playoffs were done on 2 (while trial events were on 19), and then straight into the new season on 19.

I can't imagine that HB is working towards anything that would be released on the current generation of consoles. PS5 and XBox Series X (nee: Scarlett) are just around the corner.

Sports games traditionally continue to get released on the old console for at least 2 or 3 years after the new one gets released, at least in EA’s case. With the disparity we have between the 3 different platforms now could you imagine the fun of TGC being released on 5 platforms across two console generations?

I still fail to understand the strategy of 2K/HB. Honestly. I could go crazy. I totally agree with Patrick. There is no sense in the release of a new game before the release of the new consoles..i esaily understand it...but why don't use these months to work on some serious patch and release it FOR SALE? I mean...forget about the issues we have with the swing between platforms, the flickers etcetera, cause to solve this it would be required a new game, i suppose (and, in first instance, the will to solve an issue that they don't recognize as an issue..but this is another story...), but this game is litterally full of flaws. And i mean full. Editor, avatars, personalization, ties in the tournaments, licensed PGA stuff...no counting the fact that the offline game is a total swindle, i could easily tell you not less than 20-25 things to improve, fix, implement etcetera. Probably much more.
I can be wrong, but i think that the majority of us would buy happily a patch, waiting the new game, if the patch could improve the game we love. I know i'm just dreaming, but the policy of these guys is simply impossible to understand. Months of silence and nothing, interrupted only by a shameful, disrespectful and childish move to protect nobody knows exactly what or who..with not an explanation and/or an apparent reason. Then silence and nothing again. Is unbelievable for me. Really. In the beginning i was thinking they were interested only in our money like EA. But now i start to believe they are simply too stupid, even to make money. For this reason i more concerned than optimistic, about the future of this franchise. And it would be absurd, cause here we have a game that needs just some well placed and smart improvement, to be the best golf game ever made. Instead to have a game good and beloved only cause there is a super community who support it and give it a longevity otherwise below the 0.

Even if they are unable to make an announcement about an upcoming game, how much effort does it take to engage the community with streams and events that would more than likely increase the player base. At this point only the dedicated few care about TGC 2019. They dropped the ball when the game was given away free on Xbox One, and let's not forget the ineptitude they displayed upon the Day 1 release of the game. I truly miss Anthony! Dare I even mention Troll and Mark McMorris? If it wasn't for TGCTours, TGC 2019 would have suffered the same fate.
