I got right back in the designer after my last course received a lot of good reviews and a ton of plays. I wanted to design something that felt special when you were on the course, like every shot mattered in a natural and memorable round. What does that more than Augusta and Bobby Jones’ architecture? Based just north of Downtown Atlanta, I aimed to combine some of my signature course design with the architectural ideas of Bobby Jones to bring an accessible public course to the Atlanta area. I wanted the course to have a similar feel as Jones’ two famous Georgia courses, Augusta and Peachtree GC. As with all my courses, Dunwoody will test your precision and shot making to leave yourself with smart angles and putts from below the hole. It is made to test the best players in the world, but this may end up being my easiest course in low winds due to how many chances you could have at eagle, which is similar to Jones’ work. The front 9 is a balanced 9 that gives you some tough spots but also chances to score. Holes 10-14 will test every aspect of your game to stay out of trouble and manage your round. Holes 15-17 will possibly give you a couple chances at eagle and good scores before a challenging closing hole in the 18th. I’ve attached some pictures, but as always would love if karma4u could show some of his great course photography work. I hope amidst the sensational WCoD courses that you’ll find right here a very classic design and memorable round in a natural setting. Love feedback whenever it can be given. Thanks!

Had a fun round here. Really liked the strategy throughout and the variety of challenges. Some holes were very getable, others were a tough par. Really felt the Augusta vibes here. Well done on the trees and mulch/pine straw

Had a friend fire a 57 out here yesterday on Sunday pins which was insane to me.
Excited at how risk/reward the course plays and just curious what the overall difficulty is going to play like.
