Hi Guys. So, I've laid out my new course and started to plant. I had moved the waypoint on Hole #1, Par 5. After scultping hole a little I tested fairway and then moved waypoint back to center of fairway. Now on the tee I was given a 2 wood. No problem except now when I even move the waypoint around it's stuck on 2 wood. I move it out over 400 yards and still don't get driver. What have I done? Anyone else ever see this issue?
Thanks for the help, Rich

Sounds buggy Rich.
Delete the hole and leave all the work youve done - then put the hole back in and re order them again, let me know if that works.

I had a similar but different issue for hole 10 on Canyata, where no matter what I did it would not let me move the waypoint away from the front tee. It didn't affect play, just the flyover with the 'fast start' style thanks to this.

Yeah that’s weird especially if the waypoint is in the middle of the fairway with no rough in the way of a driver shot.
I’d say try just deleting the waypoints and redoing them

Have you checked that you've laid down a teebox? If your tee is in rough, it'll never give you a driver by default (or a wood for that matter)
As a general rule of thumb, try to lay your waypoint below 300 yards - that way, if people go offline, it won't default them to a sand wedge flop back to the middle of the fairway for their second shot.

That's interesting. I was coming on to ask a similar question. I have a drivable par 4, the tee is a small island, the lay up area (about 150-180) is an island, the green is on the mainland. No matter where I set my waypoints it's giving me a LW flop off the tee. Very obvious so shouldn't catch anyone out but still annoying. I have made a tee box but it's quite small, I might try making it slightly bigger and see if that makes a difference? Any other tips anyone has would be welcome

With stuff like that, just assume the game is being weird and delete then redo. Either delete the hole and relay the waypoints, or maybe spline the tee box rather than use shapes (I've had weird issues with those behaving differently before.

The game will probably think your trying to hit that spot first. Also make sure your second 2 waypoints are on the putting surface. See if that works for you.

Thanks, next time I'm on I'll have a look at that. You may well be right about the first waypoint, I've spent all my time moving the middle one about! Unfortunately my daughter is currently on Roblox, might be time for her homework...
