Having got TGC2019 as a present for Christmas, on Xbox, I bought it for PC a couple of weeks ago. Not having played any version of TGC for almost two and a half years I expected a steep learning curve, but, as I have read elsewhere, there is no doubt it is more difficult to maintain a consistent swing on Xbox. It is possible to play equally well on both systems, but not round after round, the Xbox seems to demand excellence as far as tempo is concerned, and what would pass as good enough on PC doesn't seem so on Xbox.
I would be interested to hear from others who have both versions. I'm hoping practising in Xbox will improve my play on PC, at least that is the plan. I confess though, many times it feels I have played a drive with good tempo on Xbox, yet Xbox says no! I use the Xbox controller on PC too.

I have both. I found the XB1 version to be less responsive to the swing (when I pull the stick back, the golfer doesn't move at same rhythm). Also on PC, you can adjust your graphics and such with more freedom to get the framerate you want while playing. XB1 the choices are limited. So I prefer PC. I use the stock XB1 controller for PC, so the input device is the same.
Good luck!
