swing bug

May I be the only one that have this probelm? I can't swing the club at all, when I'm tryng to move the LS bacwards the golfclub get stuck in the ground. This is really annoying. I don't know what to do, anyone else that has experinced similar issues?

This has happened on PS4 to me very occasionally, seemingly at random. I think I got out of it by switching clubs and switching back, or maybe quitting and restarting.

I've had this bug with a few controllers. It only happens on this game, I never get stuck trying to go back on any other game.

I've found that plugging the controller in and setting the controller connection settings to USB rather than bluetooth in the PS4 settings, usually fixes the problem

In fact, I always play games with a wired controller now. I've found that this cable works perfectly and stays in place without loosening due to the flush fitting that you don't get with the official Sony cables. It's also 3 meters long. link

I had a couple shipped to me in the US. Really nice product, solid connector. I also like the fact is has inference bead on the end. My tempo instantly improved. Thanks for sharing

Just bought a new PS4 controller as I've been having this issue for months. Didn't have a problem with this controller on any other game, just TGC. Tried everything that's been mentioned on this thread, but nothing worked. New controller is absolutely fine.

I came here to post about this, as I too am having the exact same problem. It happens about 20-40% of the time during my round. Mainly on the tee and around the greens. It's quite frustrating as this never happened before until recently (I've had this game since launch). With this in mind, I'm assuming it's a patch issue?

I'm replying again. Is anyone else still having this problem like me? It's driving me nuts!!! This used to be my favorite game, but now it's becoming unplayable. It takes about 5-8 swing attempts before I can actually get a full swing. It's so incredibly frustrating.

Had it happen twice on xbx1 in last 2 weeks. I've changed swing type (x) button and it has cleared for me right away.

I have also experienced this issue and it is really annoying! I’ve tried resetting controller, hardwiring it via usb to the ps4 box and also trying my other controller and it still doesn’t work. What I have noticed is when I use the controller more often it seems to work a little better. But I think the issue is that it is just super sensitive (the controller). I saw a video somewhere about taking the controller apart and cleaning it but scared to. I blew into both left and right sticks and Walla! It started working properly but on a limited basis. Never can get a perfect swing consistently though but by blowing some of the dust seems to help the issue.
