Looking forward to this! Love the course IRL.
Princes should work well too but the OSM needs re-doing.
Most LiDAR is great for coastal courses because the EA are monitoring coastal erosion so you can get 2018 and 2019 data.
I mapped Princes but it was my first effort and wasn’t great!
Google Earth will be good for finding the most relevant map on OSM.
I can also shift terrain around in Chad’s tool if it’s not all lining up correctly, you should be able to make all courses with LiDAR work
Give me a shout if you want a hand with that latter bit 👍🏻

Well Princes Golf Club once RCP is completed will be the only open Hosted course not in the game and that as been my aim since TGC1, I tried to import Princes Golf club and Got Royal St Georges instead,so once i get RCP out the way i get in touch if i can't get princes in game because that's the course i want to do next.Saying that a lot of changes at that course the past 18 months a bit like RCP so really its only going to be the terrain then will need to design the course.No idea how to course/file share or move courses in Chad's Golf tool,it took me a week of trial and error to import a course.Also my Laptop only just about runs the game add that to how slow i am in the designer it may be some time....happy golfing

Yes one was for Royal liverpool then 2 for this,Royal liverpool crashed on my xbox after playing the beta,Then 1 of the other versions would not load on xbox,So the RCP console test worked perfect so gives me a rough idea on what plays good on xbox,i am not sure if its the plant meter or how you import it with the mask what makes the difference,Re RCP at the moment i think it going to be my my best course really enjoying this LIDAR process and testing this great underrated course. |

Will not be a course for everyone's taste but i am really loving it as a fan of links golf Chad Golf Tool really Amazed me how the data as came out,Thought this green must be wrong till i looked at the course guide Captured it Spot on.One thing i have loved on the LIDAR courses is how the greens are done just something i could not manage in designer.   |

Really made good progress with this over xmas,Really enjoying testing it just think it's because a new course which has hosted the open.Won't play that tough in decent conditions for TGC tours players,here' the scorecard Black/White/Gold (yellow)/Red official distances at RCP,Blue Tees at 6300 for any sim players would might want a try.Going to be tough for me due to lack of firepower of laptop and memory problems for xbox to really add those final touches but in the end i will be happy with it and that is all what matters,  |

Yep 3 in a straight line and i am trying to sneak one in back right,How the green is will play in game as one of the easier holes the ball just funnels to the hole locations if you hit a decent straight shot.

Noticed when playing on PC,can bring the online course guide up to play along to,Shame PC struggles to run game love to have this as a feature in game,Green Guide in corner and maybe No line for no grid players,going up to half line to full line for others be something to get rid of grids from the game spoils the look i feel the grids at times.  |
