Hi all, Ive been playing the game for a few weeks and recently discovered tgct's great society set-up. I do have a couple of noob questions though, if anyone has the time. There are names on the console leaderboard that don't appear anywhere on the website leaderboard. Why is this? Do events like the presidents cup follow the same format as the real thing? And does everyone play at one time, despite time differences? I would love to watch some it too, so what is the best way to do that? Also is the presidents cup for the ps4 players only?

Anyone can play in the society in game, you have to register to be included on the TGC leaderboard. The presidents cup will follow the same format as the real one, with players playing when it’s convenient over the week. Most games will be broadcast, if you follow the presidents cup thread it should be advertised. It seems as only PS4 players are included because the game is easier on PS4 than on PC, and WAAY easier than XB - so the world rankings are stacked with PS players. A rule has been made that each console has to be represented. In previous versions of the game it was even across the 3 platforms, this version favours PS4 (facts, not opinion).

Thankyou Ray, thats handy to know. I'll try to ignore the non registered names, it would be good if they could be edited out.
I didn't know the ps4 was easier. I'll curb any expectations I had of competing and climbing the ladder quickly, as I'm on XB.
Still, the pres cup and events like that really peak my interest, and I'll be keen to watch some of it.

I’m XBox as well. I have it on PC and also own a PS4 but I won’t buy a 3rd copy to improve my scores a little. I like the toughness of the tempo on XB, I think they’ve got it right for the ultimate challenge. Most of us have little personal rivalries with people playing on the same tour and don’t worry too much about the in-game leaderboard. A lot of guys will play tours they aren’t registered for just for practice as well. Welcome aboard. My username on XB is Big M Tiger 73. I’m just working my way back up the rankings so play in the CC-Pro society which covers CC-A, B and C I think.

Cool. I've been trying to get a mate of mine to buy a copy of the game. We use to play TW for real money. Nothing big though.
