Since the field sizes are increasing due to more qualified players each month, is there any thought to increasing the cut lines or just forgetting about them completely? Take this weeks European event - There were 180 entrants and only 70 made the cut. The ratio just does not make sense. We are just getting to March and I expect by the end of the season there will be 300 players in each event.

It does make sense. Real pro tournaments on the euro tour have 150-180 in any given tournament. Once we reach fields consistently above 200 we will evaluate.

Ok thanks. I had no idea that the real fields grew to that size. Always thought the max was around 150 or so.

Yea, most are. But we have to do things a tad differently here, b/c we have turnover. Some guys will play, then fall off. So we don't want to cut it to 150 then have it be 100 in a couple months. We will always be looking at ways to balance realism vs. the right thing to do to make it balanced. Right now, our limit is around 200.. Once we start seeing tournaments at the pro level reach that number we will have to evaluate.
