ps4 local multiplayer help

Good Day,



I'm trying to setup a local match on the game on PS4, and one of my friends is over which also owns the game.



We would like to be able to log into his account on PS4 and setup a local game just for us to play but with both our golf characters, the only option i see is when adding a player it just say my PS4 tag and guest.



We joined a party outside the game on PS4, then tried to setup the match but it keeps saying invite players. When i send invite to him he receives it and accepts it but is never added to the match and it keeps saying add players and wont ever add him ?



Is there a way to setup a local game and be able to golf together on a round using both out actual golfers. If so i'm not seeing it and was not able to find anything on google that helps me ?

I don't believe the game supports second gamertags in local offline games. I've never been able to do it when setting up matches with my wife. We can activate a second controller under her GT but the game doesn't recognize her as that. Only as a guest playing under my GT in-game.

I could be wrong and if so, would also love to know how.

Thanks, That is the same as i have been able to do. I was just wondering if there was something i was missing or doing wrong. It would be a nice feature as almost every weekend i have friends that play over at my house and it would be good if they could build on their players as well instead of just being guests.

Agree completely, but Sony do not appear to allow this & never have. Not just TGC, but also the EA titles have this issue which is truly annoying as the TW 2008 PC version allowed this with no difficulty at all. It's either a console limitation or Sony being bloody minded as usual.
