Has anyone used one yet? Does an elite controller offer visible improvements in your swing coming from a base?
I consider myself an above average player sitting one promo mark shy of CC-A.
I actually bought a new base controller a couple months ago and returned it the next day. Stick alignment felt off and made me realize how much I love my current controller that's a little over a year old.

It is the premium official controller from Xbox. You can adjust stick sensitivity, map button combos to different functions, and it is built with premium components.

I just don't see myself dropping $180 on it.
From a different thread, the adjusted stick sensitivity did help some in being more consistent with tempo and staying in blue line.

I have been told there is some production issues with new Elite 2 with a sticky A button.
I would wait.

1) It does not allow pulls shot
2) xBox tempo issues don't disappear
3) API is watching us
For the price (180€ in France) the improvement is weak. I keep my first generation Elite controller
So don't be scared, playing TGC on ps4 is still a big (unfair) advantage compare to us  |
