I have had some of my courses rejected without any explanation as to why. I had to message the people in charge of design review to find out why it was rejected. Only then did I get the reasons why and then I could understand what was wrong with it. I know that that I am not a great designer and I design my courses for easy simple play.
I would like to see when a course is rejected that the reviewer would message the designer specifically what was wrong with it, this us designers might learn how to improve our courses. Hopefully this suggestion will be taken into consideration.

I know to contact Mr. Kessler but I figured it would be nice for the reviewer give the reasons as to why a course was rejected since that reviewer has all that information. So I guess my suggestion is a dead issue.

Theres a lot of courses coming through for only a few volunteers. The best way to go about it is to post in the completed thread and request feedback. There are many community members who will go out of their way to do a detailed write up but the reviewers arent doing that for every course. They are looking at general criteria to make a black and white decision

Reach out to Matt instead: mattf27 Edit: Also, the unaccepted course feedback thread is the proper place to ask for feedback on a rejected course.

The course feedback thread is where I post notes for all of the courses I reviewed that weren't accepted. I don't review every course though, and reviewers aren't required to post all of their feedback publicly. If you let me know what course was yours, I can get the notes from whichever reviewer looked at it.

The name of my course is Arrowhead Country Club. Any notes on it would be much appreciated.

Here's the notes from the reviewer: "Not even sure i'm playing the right one.. it's listed as 7380 on site but 7390 in game, but I can't find any others. Irregardless, this one could use with some technical sprucing up.. bunkers, multi pinning, transitions etc. "
