Just wondering when it happens,do you think it will affect how and when you play, especially on the TGCTours ? It may as far as I'm concerned. I'm under par most of the time, but probably only between -2 and -6 under per round. thats not bad, but not enough to make the cut on most of the PGA events. Not sure whether I'll stop playing the PGA events, as its nice to see If I'm improving or not. Not quite sure yet. What are your thoughts on this ?

I don't think career mode will have that much affect on us. If you want to play offline and enjoy progression, then do it. If you want to compete against other live players and participate in a real-life PGA tour simulation, then play on our tours. I think most would play both. From personal experience, I'm not a big fan of the off-line season modes. I like going against real competition.

Between a couple of practice rounds and 4 tourney rounds each week in addition to staying on top of new course releases (of which there have been many in the past 6 weeks), I don't see where I have time to fit in a career mode.

I can see where a large majority of TGCT players do both but can't imagine anyone leaving here to solely play Career Mode.

For me it will just be something to do when i'm not playing against a friend,Should be fun but once you have gone through it i wonder how much replayability its going to have. But i suppose any new addition to the game is good,But they realy need to start locking down the core components of the game, drops/ob/Tighten up the shortgame flop/pitch theres alot of stuff that needs a bit of work on not just modes of play and single player stuff and new themes.

I will try it but it will probably be a looooong career as TGCTours already takes most of my playing time. Also with warm weather coming - as I look out my window here in Texas and its snowing! - I'll be spending less time with the PS4.

I'll be playing both, time permitting of course. But if I only have time for one, I'll be sticking to TGC Tours

Career Mode becomes Practice Rounds for me. I'll play it for sure and work on my game in hopes of becoming a better player overall.

Do you think they will just use the official courses in Career mode? They seem a little underwhelming to me anymore. I too wish they would just work on the needed stuff and get it in, like OB, but it seems like all developers have to continue to create something for DLC or more income. Soon as the game was about 50% completed they started porting it to ps4, xbox1, then ProTee and now are adding a career and releasing a hard copy of the game. They are talking paid updates for the career mode, so I am not sure what will be next, but I am sure it will involve a source of revenue for them. Great game, but taking 6 months or more to fix simple stuff is mind boggling, like the hat blocking the distance for the first 6 months when they just could have removed the damn hat.

They include user courses in the studio created tours and tournaments. The present tour called TGC Tour (no handicap) is 2 rounds through 23 courses. I'd say half of them are user courses. Baliwick, Haunted Forest, Ross Hollow, Pinelakes, etc are all in there. I'm almost done the tour, it's been fun revisiting some of the old user courses. We seem to forget about alot of them as the new ones come out. If user courses are there, I'm betting they will be part of the career mode too.

I also use iRacing as well, and have been using for quite awhile now. I must say using it at first was a blast, lots of races and lots of competition. But after doing it for awhile I began to miss just having the casual race against the AI. I began to drift back to RF2 and racing with the AI. I didn't know about having to pay for the career mode, so that will factor in as well. It seems these days you have to pay for everything, I wonder when we'll have to pay for the air we breath as well:).
