I have not played since MW on Xbox 360 but my son said it go good reviews so I bought it on my xbox so we can game share. Have to say it is better than I thought it would be. 2vs2 is fun. They also have a realism mode which is cool. Still a twitch shooter IMOP and not very objective based but looks good and gun play is decent. Still a PUBG guy and prefer slower paced more tactical shooters but I may play here and there with my boy.

The campaign is fantastic !
Online is still way too fast for me.

Completed the campaign on veteran first time around, always have done - achievement whoring.
I've now done the remaining ones, so all that's left is spec ops.
Loving online, currently level 40ish. Favourite modes so far are Domination, Kill Confirmed and Gun Fight.
I'm not a fan of ground war. It's a battlefield mode, and better on battlefield with the realistic building damage etc.

We have a nice group of CUCC players that have played together, but a disclaimer is we are no where near Rosebowl88 stats. We are all under a 1.0 k/d. I'd say .90 to .70 so far, but I'm sure some of us will improve those stats as we learn maps and play a bit more.

I sank some hours in one of the early versions of Call of Duty on PS3. I got reasonably good at it too, and I'm not normally one for shooters.

The 725 is ridicules, I got taken down twice by that gun from easily 75 meters away. The guy was in an upstairs window and picked me off, then I snuck around and tried to take him out and after I put a couple bullets in him, he turned and fired....1 hit kill from like I said 75 meters at least. This video alone should give that gun a nerf!! |

this just out:::Nov 8th patch
As part of the game’s enormous patch on November 8, Infinity Ward reduced the damage range of the 725 shotgun and increased its shot spread. The changes might seem minor to an outsider, but players were able to fire the shotgun from very far ranges without losing accuracy or deadliness, making the shotgun too effective against long-range targets. Now, the double-barreled weapon will just be useful for close encounters.
The M4A1 has also been criticized for being too powerful and it was tweaked in the update as well. It now has more recoil and less damage at long ranges, which should also make sniper rifles more effective.
