In the tool itself all looks good, but it just craps out at random percentages and I get the errors
Filling holes in heightmap Map scale is: 2.0 meters Background requested with scale: 16.0 meters Finding valid masked points Generating low detail background Filling missing data in heightmap For latitude 38.98421345545388: Setting sun angle to: 74.51578654454612 29.54% through heightmap 56.92% through heightmap 85.52% through heightmap Adding trees from lidar data Adding golf features to lidar data OpenStreetMap Overpass query: (node(38.984265338381164,-77.20930766184999,39.00453209795325,-77.18701851320648);way(38.984265338381164,-77.20930766184999,39.00453209795325,-77.18701851320648);out; 13.63% through OpenStreetMap Ways
When it hangs in the tool, within the console, this is what I see in the cmd prompt.

Check and see that the Open Street Map website is running, that might be the problem. Maybe try again tomorrow.

What has happened to chad. Did he give it up. I have a conspiracy theory about that.

NobleMan: Did you ever get this resolved? I am getting the same error. OSM data is not importing. Does the conspiracy theory consider Chad now working for HB Studios in the development of real life courses for the 3rd Party Golf Simulator Courses. After all he is freelance and can do what is best for him.

A similar thing happened to me. It was either the size of the course, the number of trees and the elevation changes. I had to play around with the choices in the tool as to what I had it bring in. I think I finally got it to work but cant remember what I chose. If you look for the chat about Virginia National it's in there. Other issues too, but that one also got fixed.
