I decided against buying it.
Spent $55 on MLB the show which I’ve had my eye on for a while.
Longevity looks more value.

The swing with this patch hasn’t changed anything. If anybody knows what was tweaked let me know.

I love it so far and apparently it is a big upgrade on 2018. I note you can pre purchase mlb the show 2020 from the 2109 menu so I suppose they are getting people on board early. |

I note you can pre purchase mlb the show 2020 from the 2109 menu so I suppose they are getting people on board early. I have an RTS player (3B) that I've been playing on and off since 2014. At the moment he is 36 years old and definitely will be in the Hall of Fame when he eventually retires. I didn't get 2019 because I was a bit disappointed in how the progression went in the 2018 version. Since 2019 is free, I may have to DL it and ride his career into the sunset there. I'll post his final career numbers when he hangs up the cleats. I've never simmed an at-bat or game with him. I've played every pitch of every at bat for him. But I also do not run bases or play defense (because those are boring). I only hit. Makes games go by quickly too.... unlike the 5 hour marathons of real baseball we're seeing with this World Series. After he retires, I begin a new career with a pitcher. |

I'm not sure there is a realization that a decent sim bowling game is a nice niche to have in video games. Most bowling games have been silly arcadey things. Would love to see this game be patched up to make the sim side of it a serious simulation mode with realistic difficulty. Would also be nice to see a League function (2-4 players per team) as well as tourney. Yeah, the game plays OK, but it's too easy. 1. It's impossible to miss your target, and easy to apply max hook. The only available miss is shot power. 2. Oil doesn't differ between lanes during match play. 3. Oil doesn't break down during matches or qualifiers. These are basic elements of tournament play, and that they're missing, even after decades of bowling sims, is unfathomable. It's like a golf game missing wind. The game has potential though. |

Also, found a bug.
Came in light and moved the 5-pin out of range. The announcers thought I got a strike, and a big X graphic appeared on the screen. However, the scoresheet gave me 9 pins and I had to take a second shot. There were no pins on the deck. I rolled the ball to where the 5-pin would have been and there was no indication of any collision, but I was credited with a spare.

You can miss left or right if you don't swing the analog stick straight but I am playing on PS4. The swing will change to the PC version when the patch comes out for PS4/XB1/PC Your other 2 points are spot on. |

I have a few messages out to Farsight and they have replied back quickly letting me know they are sending them to the team for review. Here is what I have noted
Splits need to be circled. They know what splits are as they get tracked on the stats page
Skip the scorecard sequence after every shot as the score is displayed above the lane.
During competitions I am always bowling on the same lane shot after shot. When you bowl in a event when you finish in the Top 4 the lanes do alternate as intended
No pin bounce out of the pits. Not realistic
Way too many solid 9 pins from Kyle Troup. Saw 5 of them on a live stream in one match and he had 3 against me in another match
Bots on the online leaderboards. Should be real online bowlers only. Having bots win money that I won fairly well is not fair.
Anybody have any more they want to send just send them to Farsight or let me know and I can do it.
