I've run into a problem with my latest WIP at planting phase.
I started with Autumn theme because visually it's the most pleasing for Parkland courses.
The problem is I need a little more variety on the evergreen tree front to make it look like the real thing, that one shitty pine you get with Autumn isn't going to cut it.
I still need lot's of deciduous trees, particularly oak trees.
Rustic seems to have the best fit on the tree and background front but I just hate that theme, I don't like how you can't expose soil in heavy woodland or on sharp slopes. I think it just looks fake.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good rustic them course I can play / view?
The other option is to do something with the Highland theme as the tree fit is good.
I was thinking of hiding the sea by creating my own hills around the perimeter of the plot, I could probably bear the odd seagull noise if the course looks right.
Has anyone else done this before? If so I'd love to see it.
Any input that can help me make a decision would be well received!
Thanks
