Another one I am thinking of snagging tonight as it's on sale for $21. Played the demo and was a bit awestruck as feel like I am out on the course. Anybody else out there have this?

nevadaballin made a thread for it back when he bought so I know he has it. Don't recall anybody else ever saying they had it.

Don't feel like making a seperate thread for it, but if anybody has two Move controllers and is looking for a game that gets you moving I got BoxVR today which is on sale and it's actually pretty good. It's like a less hardcore version of Beat Saber with an emphasis on fitness and no way to fail a song. Despite being very much out of shape I jumped right into the longest program at 60 minutes in length. The hour actually flew by which surprised me. Heart never got thumping too hard but I was dripping sweat by the time it was done and I can tell my arms and legs will be feeling it in the morning, if not sooner.

I may look into this to add to my wife's stroke rehab.

I may look into this to add to my wife's stroke rehab. It would probably be good for that. Would also be good for anyone looking for some no impact exercise. The most strenuous thing you have to do is some occasional squats, unless you choose the no squats programs. Otherwise it's just jabs, crosses, uppercuts, and blocks as the targets come towards you. Motion sickness is a non-factor as there's no movement. There's dozens, perhaps 100's of preset routines to go through from 2 minutes up to 60 minutes long. Not the sort of workout that's going to tone you in any way, but just a fun way to get active, get your heart rate up a bit, and burn some calories. I read a couple reviews before buying it and they were generally very positive as well.

Having to find just a single one is so annoying both in the fact that they aren't sold individually in retail and that prior to VR you could pick up single ones off Ebay etc. for a few bucks and now you're looking at closer to $30 for a used one. I got lucky and stumbled across a cheap used(brand new condition one)locally and it really does provide you access to some really good games you can't play without them.

Yea, amazing how that changed after the intro of VR lol.

I saw a post online from someone who went to a Goodwill in Colorado and they apparently had a whole bunch of used Move controllers for $3 each. No guarantee of course that they'd actually work and a good 12 hour drive for you each way, but it might give you an idea of some places you could check locally to grab one cheap.

Yea second hand stores are always a good place to look. Along with GW, we also have a Savers here in Reno. If you aren't familiar > www.savers.com/about-usMy wife used to be a store manager for them, their biz model is very community give-back based. We still shop there from time to time mostly for hardware/electronic stuff. Good suggestion for everyone though. Look under all of the rocks, you never know what you may find

It's about half a block from my apartment and my wife shops there occasionally but I do my best to avoid it. Thrift and dollar stores are so not my thing.

I don't care where something comes from as long as it is priced reasonably and it works. Typically electronics and sporting goods stuff (used golf balls incredibly cheap as an example). We are also partial to businesses that commit to charities and community assistance. My lone exception is clothes. I have to have new clothes. I can't wear someone else's attire. Gives me the creeps cause I don't know who had it before me lol. But hardware stuff, no problem man, save me some $$ please!
