Epic Games sued for not warning parents 'Fortnite' is allegedly as addictive as cocaine Roughly a quarter of a billion mostly obsessed gamers are battling it out in "Fortnite." There’s a darn decent chance kids you know are among them. A Montreal-based law firm launched a proposed class action in Canada on behalf of two Quebec parents who claim that "Fortnite" publisher Epic Games needs to pay the price for a third-person shooter game they allege is as addictive, and potentially harmful, as cocaine. The firm, Calex Légal, represents plaintiffs who are identified only by their initials, FN and JZ. They are the parents of a 10- and 15-year-old, respectively. finance.yahoo.com/news/epic-games-sued-not-warning-185637941.html

Makes sense, why should parents expect to take any responsibility for raising their kids...

Nokia, Apple, Samsung etc probably have deeper pockets than Epic Games. Don't they teach parents anything these days?

I've never played Fortnite. My daughter is 4. While she does sometimes watch TV, go on the wife's ipad and play Planet Coaster with me (a game where all my 6 hours of play have been solely with her), she does prefer to play football, play games, read a book, go putting and talk. A lot. She talks a hell of a lot.
