Just a quick tip and/or reminder for those that use a mouse ... don't forget about your mouse pad.
After a month of nearly consistent Perfect/Perfect and thinking I'd figured out the tempo part of this game, I started getting intermittent Fast/Perfect. It started as just a few times here and there ... then started happen frequently (every few shots).
I realized there was a spot on my mouse pad that was more worn out than the rest ... when pushing the mouse forward on my downswing, it would catch on that spot and affect the smooth tempo.
Although, another tip ... if you're mouse pad is old and you replace it with a shiny new one ... it'll probably be a lot more slick than you're used to. So, it'll take a little time to get used to it (meaning it might be harder to hit a perfectly straight line as your mouse wants to fly all over the slippery new mouse pad ... but your tempo should still have more consistency if there aren't sticky spots to push through).
