Not sure you can use the C word around here, so I've modified it slightly for you... My bad, I didn’t know that the C word was verboten. They prefer to be called losers? 🤔😆 It’s not “them” to look out for. Call the despicable articles what you like for me... but the admin don’t accept the C word.

How the hell do people use rubber bands? This confuses me almost as much as the flick thing does.

I think it should work like a football league. You should stay in your flight for the entire season, those playing consistently good will be at the top, and get promoted. Those consistently struggling will finish at the bottom, and will be demoted. Those in the middle will stay where they are.
I was quite happy playing in CC-A and suddenly found myself in the Web.com, and didn't enjoy it one bit. I eventually stopped playing the on-line tours, and now just play the in-game PGA tour. I miss the tours massively, but I need to feel competitive, and not just making up the numbers.

Phil - why don't you just tank for a few weeks and you will wind up back in CC-A?

Just looking back on this season, since I was demoted from D to E. This is my first full season with Masters clubs Week 2 Demoted from D to E Week 3 129th 1 demotion Mark Week 4 89th 1 promotion Mark Week 5 72nd no marks Week 6 70th no marks Week 7 88th no marks Week 8 106th no marks (probably because I'm playing Masters clubs) Week 9 73rd no marks Week 10 61st no marks Week 11 98th no marks Week 12 96th no marks Week 13 67th no marks
So my only chances of movement are: 1. Get better which is hard as I can't crack top 50 2. Switch to Pro clubs to move up to D (out of the question - can never ever go back to Pro clubs) 3. Tank my season, get demoted to F, but be more competitive.
What's more interesting to me when I look at how I am doing, I only compare to others playing Masters clubs. I think the move to Masters has been generally positive as I seem to finish in top 50% most weeks. Week 3 49th out of 89 Week 4 35th out of 75 Week 5 28th out of 65 Week 6 26th out of 70 Week 7 38th out of 65 Week 8 46th out of 66 Week 9 30th out of 61 Week 10 25th out of 69 Week 11 44th out of 71 Week 12 45th out of 65 Week 13 32nd out of 69
So I'm way more competitive versus Masters club players than combined Masters/Pro.
I know it's impossible, but I'd love to see a whole set of tours just for Masters clubs. Probably why I look forward each week to TST. I believe most play Masters clubs,

I started with Pro clubs but within a month switched to Masters. It has been a long slow grind (due undoubtedly to lack of talent) and I have found the only thing that has helped me improve is practice, practice, practice - and I still self-sabotage sometimes in competition. You may not have the time or inclination, but I play at least two or three practice rounds for each of the four rounds in the tournaments, using the conditions for that round, and playing with myself as a guest. It has helped me a lot, both the repetition of shots and knowing the right club to hit. It is the only thing that has helped me improve. Good Luck and try not to be discouraged.

I hear you, and I agree more practice will help. IRL, I certainly agree, but I find with my gaming mode, practice helps a wee bit. I should be giving myself more credit. Two months ago I was whining that I couldn't hit Masters clubs or read greens TST. I've improved there a lot. Im sure six months from now I'll have something else to complain about 😉

I would also like to see the ability to opt out of the fair play requirement. Let me explain. I don't even come close to being able to draw back an analog stick on a Ps4, or X Box1 controller. Neither can I draw a mouse straight back and through. This game is a major challenge as it is. A little help to bring the club back and through on a level plane makes it a little easier. You still have to maintain tempo, and rhythm. Also, terrain, environment, and green speeds, all contribute to difficulty level. Create a section for players to take part in that need a little help, otherwise, its no fun spraying the ball all over the place. Those players that shoot 40 and 50 under are going to do what? Shoot 60 under? I shot 6 under in my first tourn., and scores were thrown out. My swing was too straight. I know my limitations, and I'm never going to compete with the big boys. Like others in this post, I just want to have fun with other golfers of like talent, even if you need a straight edge to help maintain a level swing. Just my two cents worth.

This is simply absolutely not possible. If we could play with a controller that normally couldn't pass the API, the vaste majority of players wouldn't have a score of -60 as you believe, they would have a minimum score of -18 every round. Nothing less. Me included. This game would be a joke. The only real difficulty we have, right now, is to have a straight line on our shot. And, of course, to be solid on tempo. If we remove this 2 obstacles (and with my cheap controller they are both easily removed, so i assume is the same for the others players too) this Tour would be simply over.
