Can you tell me please why some players who are legit duel shock users are getting removed every week or so due to API.

Because their controller is giving them an unfair advantage. One of the main reasons this happens (for legit players, rather than those deliberately trying to gain that advantage) is that when a controller gets old it sometimes develops a dead spot, where no matter where in that dead spot they swing it, it registers as a specific swing path - so they only have to get it close to consistent to get the identical swing registering.
To try and give an example to explain that easier - imagine the blue section is any swing that registers between +10 and -10 on a line, where 0 is dead centre (and therefore dead straight). For normal players, registering a swing of say +5 will send the ball a few yards right of target, -5 a few yards left. With a dead zone, you might get any swing between +5 and -5 all register as 0 - so nearly all their shots go totally straight.
That is an unfair advantage - so they get their scores removed.
Of course there are other methods which can register similarly - such as the flick / short swing, which goes much straighter than a full swing (but also gets pulled by the API) plus obviously illegal controllers etc.
So basically if you (or someone else) is using a legit DS4 and gets pulled - then change controller and you should be fine.

I would wager at least 75% are due to flick swings. It doesn’t register the same as a normal swing. Admin gave a warning to flick at your own risk. I know a few players who abandoned it and have been fine ever since.

There was also a glitch that sent everyone a "failed API" email last week.
