Looks like folks really like the middle options when no other variables are present. Obviously not a substantial sample size but still interesting.

This thing reminded me a bit the psychological test I did for the army. I don't know how it works in your country, but here in Italy they had (now there is not anymore the obligatory militar service) a standing to judge people, from 1 to 5. 1 was the best possible result, it means you are/could be a great soldier. 5 was the worst and it means that you were unable to be a soldier. And, for them, means also that you are a mental case. I did the test (really seriously, I swear) and I collected 4. The doctor told me that I was 3 answer distant from the evaluation of 5 (and the questions were almost 200). I never have understand if to laugh or if to be worried about this. 👀
