Tough course but felt good to shoot four solid rounds and getting my first win.

Not my lucky day today! I've got a replay of the get out shot but no idea how to show it here! Surely in real life you'd get some kind of relief from this lie!

One of the annoying things on this course. I’m DNF on the beginner tour this week. The course had lots of issues on it. None worth creating a new thread for but I know there are a heap of RDC courses that could have hosted this week with a better course.

Damn man, that sucks. Couldn't have been more dead center and it cost you. Did it ricochet backwards? IRL most courses that use yardage/alignment sticks in the fairway or even just off the fairway are easily removable. Most of the time there's a tube sunk into the ground and the marker goes into it. You just need to pull the marker out and set it aside while you take your shot. Not my lucky day today! I've got a replay of the get out shot but no idea how to show it here! Had to aim 90 degrees right, clubbed up by one, max fade and loft and gave it a severe 8 to 2 swing. Helped by the wind it landed just to the right of the green in the rough. Knocked it up and one putted for par which I was quite amazed at considering the lie pictured lol. Be interested to see what the api data looks like for that shot haha. Couldn't get into any of the rounds today. Practice rounds was shooting -13 but fell to pieces when they shouted game on haha.

Haha, just played round 3 and had a drive bounce off one. Pretty close to the end of the drive, so it only went about 3 feet away. Still, I wonder how many other players are having issues with them this week... Damn man, that sucks. Couldn't have been more dead center and it cost you. Did it ricochet backwards? I thought the course was okay, the only issue I had was as above, markers in the middle of the fairway should be a no-no. I have had a round on next weeks course, and the par 5 15th surely has to be a piss-take...……...

-8 -8 -6 -4 (-26)
I really struggled those last two rounds. Just so many fast/slow downswings that put me in bad spots and prevented me from gaining any momentum. Oh well. Onto the next.

Finished at -24 and will be my first demo mark since playing. Struggled with my tempo. In round 3 I had a 5 hole stretch where I was +5 but managed to finish -2 for the round. Think I got my swing back some in the final round. On to the next week.

I must get 8 or 9 slow downswings a round...so frustrating. Only shot -22 (-3 -8 -4 -7), and will lose my lone promotion mark as I'm outside top 100.

So as the days pass, leaderboard is still on 1st round I sit in 20th. My hope is to be around this mark when all is said and done. But who knows .

If you shoot around -10 all four rounds, you'll probably finish somewhere between 20th-40th. The only tricky thing on this course is probably the greens. (Well that and knowing which holes to actually play the wrong fairway intentionally, ala Bubba style. Playing practice rounds with ghosts who shot really low scores showed me a few paths to holes that I would have never figured out on my own...) I played around 15 practice rounds on the course before starting the tournament and it paid off with a very good first round at -14.

Wow 15 practice rounds. I played 4, one with each pin position, all on high wind.
I went -10 -9 on the first 2 rounds. (Cc f)
