I have been using the sw wedge on those 12-17 yard chips and it "usually: works out ok. I cant stand those longer par 3's in the 215-220 range with wind in the face. Can never dial it in to get it to stay on the green or get on the green.

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
