So I start a plot with no trees and add my own as I go. Coming upto completion and the plant meters filling up so I’ll auto generate trees. (This is a question before I’ve tried it)... do you ‘paint’ the areas you don’t want auto generated trees with a clear auto generated trees brush, and then add the auto generated trees? I presume this is the best way or otherwise you’ll get trees all over the plot

I do it kinda the other way round - the game will only generate autogen trees (and grass etc) in areas where you have not laid any surfaces (Fairway / rough etc) - so just max generate trees. Then just use the clear trees brush to remove the ones you then don't want (which won't be on your actual holes anyway)
