Hi all,
As a number of you know, I'm one of the judges for the contest and first off, I've loved it - mainly because you guys have produced some great courses. More than anything else, a number have just tried out new stuff, which has been brilliant. I decided at the start that I wanted us to give you a bit more feedback than just the rank order and celebrate some of the real hits that this contest has produced. We were going to decide these as judges, but VctryLnSprts and I thought it'd be more interesting to throw it out to you guys and help build the hype a little whilst we finalise the overall results...
Disclaimer: I selected these. Therefore, these are the things that I personally liked the most over all the courses and do not represent the views of the judging body as a whole. Don't sweat trying to rank people based on who has the most nominations - that's not how this works and wouldn't get my rank order anyway... I've tried to celebrate something from everyone, but those celebrations are in there on merit. I just didn't want the best course in the contest to be nominated in every category. So, if that makes sense, let's get on with it. If not, work it out and lump it. It's meant as fun

Best opening hole
Best par three
Best par four
Best par five
Most interesting design choice
Most self-indulgent bridge
Trickiest green
Best off-course area
The 'silly and fun' hole award
Best closing hole
I will post screenshots for each nomination shortly then add a link to the form in the bottom of this post in a couple of hours' time (so that you can actually remember the holes rather than just voting for your own...). You can select multiple options for each award, and I'd encourage you to do so.
Do comment in here as well - have I missed a better hole of yours? Surprised something else didn't make it? Can't remember that hole? Above all else, this is meant to celebrate all the good that has come out of this contest, so please look at it in that light rather than a negative if you feel you should have been mentioned more - it's a contest and there were a LOT of good holes/areas that have missed out...
