For the first time, I’m playing a tournament this week with Master(s) clubs. First two rounds (-2,+8) have been more fun because of the challenge. In another tournament, with ProClubs, I’ve shot -7 and -9. It doesn’t feel gratifying or fun shooting those scores because I hit P/P 90% of the time. Where’s the fun in shooting -30 for a tournament? When the new season begins of TST and CC-Pro, i’ll Be at the bottom every week, but I’m sure more fun.

I was "shamed" into going from beg clubs to masters by friends of mine (I've never played pro sticks). I think I spent an hr practicing on the range which was a very good help. First mos were not easy but yes, the challenge of it felt great.

I voted for masters but for me it depends on the situation. I've taken a long break from playing on tour (CC-C) but when I did/do play on tour I use pro clubs. There, I would rather score well and be competitive but again I haven't played it in a while mostly for that reason. It's just a total birdie fest and gets boring.
In general play though I always use masters and love the challenge. I like playing with TST settings too where birdies mean so much more. No green grid is where the real fun begins

Easily Masters, have good weeks and bad weeks. Last two I've hit -37, but no doubt one I'll just playing poorly and not get the tempo.
That being said, depends if you're on PS4 or Xbox.
I hope for better promotion marks so us Xbox users can progress.

I voted Pro Clubs and it looks like i am the only one to do so. I much prefer shooting low in my rounds because that is when i have the most fun. It is why i was such a fan of the first game.

Back in my Tiger Woods days, I liked seeing how low I could score on the easiest settings. I unlocked the prototype clubs in TW 12 Master's edition, maxed out my stats, put the game on easy and played Augusta from the member tees multiple times to see how low I could go. I think I got -25 a few times.
Just the difference between a more arcade game like TW vs a more sim feel like TGC dictates how I like to play.
Those prototype clubs were the best. 320-330 carry just made mincemeat of those courses

Anyway..about this poll..i think the question is not "fairly" proposed. I mean..is not necessarily true that between these two sets of clubs the gap in scoring is so high. Is harder..for sure..but as for every human activity, with the practice and an always better understanding of...everything about the game, anyone can score -30 or -40 per tournament, even with master clubs, and without need to cheat. I think that is right to have the hardest clubs in the best tours..and to leave people free to use the clubs which anyone feel more comfortable on cc-pro and am. Soon or later the best players will always find the way to score what they deserves to score, no matters the clubs they are using.

I’ve been playing these golf games for years, and have never thought shooting -30 to -40 was a bad thing...until I started playing with Masters clubs. The only thing I worry about switching to Masters clubs is I won’t be competitive for awhile and will be demoted a few times, but hope that in time I’ll get the hang of it. Really happy with my play this week in a society where you can only use Masters: -2, +8, +1. The +1 was +5 until I went on a birdie binge. So apparently I can play with Masters well enough.

Well season over, made it to the PGA but need to up my game if I,m to hang around for a while, suffered with a lot of fast downswings in the final round and my lines were all over the place, which is unusual, had to swing slower than normal to get a P/P, wonder if HB have been tinkering with the servers, either that or it was down to me. Congrats to the rest of the guys that made it onto the PGA, see you up there.

I spent the entire season on Web,.com. No promotions or demotions. I guess I'm where I belong..

This poll intrigues me- the large Society I play in has a bunch of Pro club users who are excellent with those clubs- they consistently shoot -12 to -16 with Pro clubs, and refuse to move up to Masters clubs. I dont get it?? I'm easily 3 or 4 strokes better per round with Pro clubs (mostly due to how easy Pro clubs are from 60y in)- but I take infinite more enjoyment shooting a -8 with Master's than a -16 with Pro clubs. Win at any cost I guess?

My guess: they are clinical narcissists (NPD), unwilling to relinquish the feeling that they are superior beings- unable to feel the need for self-growth. To be pitied, IMO, because challenge is the electricity of life.

Win at any cost I guess? If anyone is consistently shooting -12 to -16 they are going to be getting to the masters only tiers very quickly, unless they sandbag to avoid moving all the way up. CC-A should be Master's only, if nothing else based solely on the fact that the top 10 scores are always pro, and its the direct feeder into the master's only tiers, which is quite the paradox.
