Hey all,
I hope everyone is progressing well on their courses.
I'm at a stage now where there is some nice looks coming together (well i hope so?  ) so i thought id start to share some pics.
Feedback always welcome and I will add some more as I go. I have 8 holes down - none are fully complete but here is some teasers.

Liking the looks of this one, just an observation but I’d try and make the contours on the course and especially around the greens blend and flow a bit more naturally. It kinda looks like they’re just coming outta nowhere atm. Good work thus far

1 thru 12 are laid out, sculpted, textured and at varying levels of planting. I would estimate no holes are fully complete but after completing 2 holes in 3 hours tonight I feel like i got over a hurdle i had in an area of the plot that I was avoiding (11 and 12). A couple of par 4's that turned out much better than I expected. Moving into an area of the plot that has much more variety from 13-18 im hopeful no more mind blanks. May have some more pics in a week or so or i may hold everything until the end. 44 days until final submissions and im thinking im using 40 of them |

I will be away at the time of start of submissions and will have about a week when I get back for finishing touches so need to get everything done by 24th September.

That’s a perfect summary of my 13 and 14 as well as it happens, which I’ve been doing over the last two days. Weird... |

That’s a perfect summary of my 13 and 14 as well as it happens, which I’ve been doing over the last two days. Weird... That is very weird. I’m my case they happen to share a linked hazard and are a par 5 and par 3 that in a small way share the same space albeit more from a visibility perspective not a physical space. Keen to get back to it today as it’s not quite right yet. |

Only 1 hole left to lay down and texture, the 18th.
So much to go back over and do but because I have all 18 done I stop worrying about if I will have enough ideas and I can focus on the detail.

Progressing nicely. A full weekend at it and we are getting close.
I notice 18 WIP threads so 2 are keeping their cards close to their chest.

Official Update.... All routing, macro and micro sculpting, pins, tees, bunkers and greens done. Only plant based sculpting to be done now. Only 2 holes fully planted but it was important i got the other stuff done and the lighting right before i started planting so im confident with tree placement. I'm very happy with how challenging some of the holes are and i think its a low scoring course but still fun (hopefully). No clubhouse or other stuff yet - im ensuring the course is right before any of that stuff... So planting and play testing it is for the next few days... cant believe publishing can start in a week |
