In 2 months I guess my homecourse is going to start thinking about opening. But if I drive about 90 minutes south, I can play ok courses, so its not to bad. Going on a trip to Portugal next week to play 7-8 rounds and get ready for the season!! Btw, this is my homecourse, ranked #1 in norway, top 100 in Europe: Miklagard Golf
regards, Me and the mrs want to go to Norway for a holiday, how's the golf over there? Stunning country by the way can't wait to visit.

regards, Me and the mrs want to go to Norway for a holiday, how's the golf over there? Stunning country by the way can't wait to visit. Thanks and welcome! On the eastern parts its still early for golfing, but with the nice weather its starting to help, so if you go 90 km south of oslo, youll probably find the courses starting to open this weekend! But my homecourse will not open imtill April/May. If you go to the western areas, around Stavanger and down, some of those courses are open more or less the year around. Mixed quality tho. There are many nice courses, with different challenges, around. Trondheim has a couple of nice ones, Stavanger obviously, and some further south as well. Most courses around Oslo of course.

Miklagard golf ( my homecourse), Losby, Bogstad, are well worth a visit. Within 20 minuts from Oslo Centrum, and 30 minutes from the airport.

Losby is my homecourse, and I can confirm that these three courses are really good. They were the initial Norwegian candidates for Solheim Cup 2019. Bogstad is selected as Norways candidate now, and I think Solheim Cup in Oslo can be a great event for golf and for Norway. Starting my outdoor season at Dubai Creek next saturday, followed by 6 great courses during that week. Itching to get out on green grass again.

Me and the mrs want to go to Norway for a holiday, how's the golf over there? Stunning country by the way can't wait to visit. If you plan on going to Norway I would suggest visiting at least Oslo and Lofoten. The Troon-owned Lofoten Golf Links opens all 18 holes this year. Amazing scenery and possibility to play in the midnight sun from May 28th to uly 14th.

Lofoten is our number 1 choice so far followed by Lillehammer and Oslo, I am really looking forward to coming over.

Here is my home course, Its owned by Woody Austin. Pretty cool course with a lot of water. #9 kind of has a islandish fairway. The hole is only 309 from the tips but there is disaster waiting everywhere. You can make anything from a Eagle to a Double Bogey or more. Willowbend Golf Club
