I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing that me and another person have. We both bought brand new controllers at different times and both seen significant downgrades around the 1 and a half month mark with the accuracy and tempo of the swing. Currently no matter what I do I always have a slow down swing, and I'm wondering if anyone else has this and might have some tips to remedy it. Is there anyway to combat the wearing out of the internals of the controller to make it last longer?

I. Using the same Xbox controller from 2 years ago...and have probably played around 1500 rounds. No problem.

Mine is fine after 18 months is of use - in fact the right shoulder button is knackered and I'm trying to stretch out its life because it works better than my newer one

I use my Xbox Elite controller for anything bar FIFA.
Find it really good for Golf as you can "feel" the tempo more than the standard.

Guess maybe we either are full of it or got two bad controllers.

I bought a new one when I joined TGCT back in Oct '18, no issues. I only use that controller for golf. I use my older one for everything else, including the course designer.

XB1 Elite here, over 2 years now and except for the rubber peeling itself off, no issues whatsoever. Best controller ive ever had. That said, my previous XB1 controller lasted a couple of years before I sold it, 360 controller before it last 5 years or so.
Guess I'm not a Neanderthal with controllers

Use an Elite on the XBox (which the right shoulder button is getting sticky after 3 years) but bought a new wired controller for PC when I joined TGCT at the start of the season just for golf. Lasted the season and in the region of 500 rounds without a problem.
