Welcome to this dumpster fire thats just heating up, after finally figuring out how to post pictures, i can start this thread. 11 holes MOSTLY done, still some bits to work through, had this idea for a while so it is nice to finally put in into action. No name yet, no backstory, but i have a feeling i will be done well before the publish date, so i will work all of that out before Sept 15th. That being said, i have enjoyed peeping into some of the design WIPs and there is a growing anxiety from what i see hahaha. This contest will be great for all of us to learn and have some friendly competition, that being said, i am here to win and you will all be crushed LOL. Here are some pics of the 90% done 11th hole i just finished working on.

Nice looking hole and bunker, good luck! Pretty sure Tottenham fans are similarly confident before the start of every season!!!

After a complete meltdown on my previous attempt, i started over with anew concept. I had sculpted a bunch and did not realize I had saved it. So when I went to load it up and redo it, i was shocked to see it still jacked up. Here are a few pics of the new 1st hole. Time to cram as much work in as I can over the weekend to catch back up. Hope everyone is having better luck with theirs at this point

Really cool you’re tackling heavier cloud cover (if you’re planning on keeping it). Tough to get right but that looks cool so far

Apart from the hat it’s looking good, still ages to go until final publish date so no need to rush anything 👍🏻

Did you design the hills in the background? If so that's awesome, the green and red theme with the sun and shadow looks great.

I agree with lessthanbread - the cloud cover contrasts nicely with the brighter colours elsewhere. There’s a cool look here and you have ages. Take your time.

Those are the background for the theme. I did sculpt the hills straight ahead off the tee. And I am trying to play with the lighting and colors so I am glad it looks good so far.

Ah ok, I was first looking at them and wondering how you got a background with no yellow trees. So I thought maybe you had built a ridge surrounding your course. I guess that's one aspect of the procedural generation for the backgrounds I don't understand yet. I do like how you are using it to show the depth and distance.
