TGC Tours OOTP Online League

After watching Crazycanuck1985 play OOTP 20 on Twitch and getting the itch to get back into an online league I thought a league with TGC Tours members could be fun if there is enough interest.  I do have some previous experience running an online league and would be willing to do so here.  In order to be viable we need a minimum of 8 people who would partake.

An important note is that there is a cost associated with online leagues outside of owning the game as you do have to pay for server hosting.  There are a couple sites I know of that handle the hosting and offer a few other perks for the money such as an online reports web page where you can view team stats, schedules etc when away from the game.

If you would be interested in participating post here and if we have enough interest we can move forward with getting a league started.

I used to buy OOTP every year, but haven’t this year. I’d be willing to pick it up for a good online league. How is online play handled, is it like a 7-day lineup save file that we send to you and you simulate weekly or do we have to coordinate a time to play each other live, etc.? What kind of time commitment are we talking?

Yeah sims are typically 7 days, with a MLB type schedule where series end on Sundays I like to have them go Monday-Sunday. I think for this league we could run 2 sims a real life week making the time commitment as little as 10-15 minutes a week or as much time as you want to put into learning the league, your organization and trying to make deals with other people participating.
