All, I've read through this thread and another I found ( Shift Entire OSM Import) and I'm still left with a few questions. I'm working on my first course and used Mapbox Satellite for all splines in OSM. To get the areas to line up with Bing Aerial Imagery I have to adjust the offset to -0.66,-3.43 I proceeded to use those values in TGC Golf Tools 0.3.0 for the OSM import. I set Shift West/East to -0.66 and Shift South/North to -3.43
It looks pretty good to me. Most certainly better than if I leave the shift values to "0". But I'm left wondering if I'm doing this correctly.
Is it a correct assumption that I should be aligning my areas to Bing Aerial Imagery?
Is it correct to use the same offset values from the Id tool in TGC Golf Tools?
