SS's - Volcanic Cliffs Wild volcanic islands provide the scene for most exhilarating and challenging teeshots ever seen in the game. A beautiful course designed to look great and play great. Insane! Course SummaryVolcanic Cliffs is a mesmerising fantasy 18 hole course set in a tropical island archipelago containing active volcanos and terrifyingly high cliffs. Playing from the front tees will allow sub par scores for most players, however playing off the back will test the best of the best in all areas of their game. It's a true championship course that requires nerves of steel to make shots under pressure. Are you up for the challenge? Course InfoName: SS's - Volcanic Cliffs Type: Tropical Volcanic Islands Par: 72 (18 Holes) Tees: (Red = 6917 yds, White = 7527 yds, Black 7989) Greens: Fast + Soft + 4 Pins I have had a huge amount of fun making this course on PS4 where I pushed the editor to its limits. I really want to get more than 500 rounds and get it on tour. Why not support me and give it a go on your society? As a host of TGCTours TV of the Diamond Cutters, this course, as unique as it is, wouldn't make it Tour Worthy. A nice course in the fantasy sense, but unnatural sloped fairways and greens are not going to earn a spot on tour, just my opinion.

I took the challenge!!
Very nice!! You did a great job, this course is beautiful. neat idea to make the volcanoes seem active.
It is very hard, but worth the play! If they won't let it on tour, (which I didn't see why they shouldn't, other than they might think its too hard), they should use it for one of those qualifying challenge thingys. I mean, you REALLY have to think on this one, and plan your shots, you can't just use easy mode and get pars and birdies.
I'm a Z level player and as hard as it was, I still had a great time. Some courses are hard, and you get the impression the designer just sat and tried to make a hard course, and didn't put any other thought in it... just put hard things where they know people are gonna hit. bleh. uninteresting. Courses like this are awesome. Its hard, but its because of the theme and the terrain, and you don't get frustrated or tired of it, because of the spectacular job in building it.
well done!

Great course, adding to my society along with your previous publish. Not sure why a fantasy aspect would keep this from being approved for tour play. The same type of shotmaking is needed as on a traditional course. Yes, there are a lot of approaches that funnel to the hole but you must hit the right section of the green, which isn't easy. I played on default settings, then with a crosswind. Some of the holes play drastically differently, which is a huge asset. There is a fun risk-reward aspect on many of the par 5s. The course is tough. The course is fun. Nice work!

Just shot +23 round here. I would say I'm a fairly capable player, but that was tough. I did play with a moderate wind, which was my choice, and should be noted.
Firstly, I play without the scout cam so the elevation changes and general sight lines make the majority of shots guess work. The fairways are very challenging to play off with the steep gradients, making for some large pushes and pulls that need to be accounted for. The greens are also pretty severe, lots of red lines. There were lots of places where the ball would simply roll and roll, often back to your feet or further. I don't mind the challenge of that from time to time, but when it is most shots on most holes it begins to get a bit wearing. It all combines to make the course probably the hardest I've played.
That said, I think the course is beautiful and I fully applaud the work you've done on that front. The planning to get this set up must have been significant, and the water fall on I think it's 13 (though I don't know how the water gets up there! lol) is excellent. The smoke in the Volcanoes is a neat touch as well, and although some of the bunkers are very deep indeed, they're still reasonable to play from.
I don't think I'd play this course again, it is just a bit too much of a grind. There were too few really enjoyable shots to hit, everything was a struggle just to keep the ball in play. I think I had 2 pars and a birdie, and the rest was in the red. Still, even at +23 my handicap rose from +9.3 to +9.6, so there is that!
