The Reserve@Spanos Park (L) XBF ... updatedXBox friendly version and recommend this be the standard version. Same Course. Just loads better on the older xbox consoles ... Thanks to Yeltzman and others for testing ... The Reserve @ Spanos Park CA [L]finally open after several years on the burners ... simmering to what was finally published. Course Link: www.reserveatspanospark.com/Google Earth: earth.app.goo.gl/yLGvMAThis course was originally started back in 2016. A lot has changed between then and it's release. Actual 9th and 18th greens from my gallery ... 3 years ago, when I started getting serious about doing this course for this Game, actually TGC 1, ported into TGC 2, and completely redone from scratch for TGC 3 ... 11th Green looking Northwest ... 17th Green across the 11th Tee Box ... This is my home course. I have played many a round here, since I moved just down the road from this Delta jewel. Located in the fertile Delta Farmlands of San Joaquin County. This links course is one of the top courses in the valley. I hope I have captured the essence of this course, even though the theme used doesn't quite offer the trees and the backdrop I could have hope for. It is however, damn close as to what you would expect, if you were to play the Reserve in real life, minus the occasional Coyote, or the immigrants from our greater northern border, the hordes of Canadian Geese. As Always, Enjoy

I was thinking..have you ever thought about the chance to realize the San Francisco Golf Club, a good old design from A.W. Tillinghast? (I know that to propose is always easy..and to realize real courses, even using the lidar I suppose is really stressful, but you are our man in California, so I wish just ask, cause.. who better than you could? )

I am backlogged on courses ATM ... I am familiar with the SF GC ... I may take a look at it as well, since I have both the courses across Merced Lake (Duck Pond) AKA The Flying "O" Club and the other course to the north of the pond ... another course famous for US Open play (Harding Park) as well ... both have been done by others ... but ...

You know..i wish to take the chance to tell you a thing I noticed while I played and checked your Cypress Point (for my list etc etc). I played the yours and the one made by my beloved mr.Petty. To be honest, on first instance I decided to keep this thought for me, cause I don't want that my words could ever sound as some kind of judgement..is just a feeling. But now I wish to try to explain what I feel, cause I suspect you are a bit sad about the reception of your Cypress Point (but I can be easily wrong, I know it). And what I feel has nothing to do with the technical side of your work (there are so many great designers who could do this better than me, also considering that I'm not a designer and can just imagine what kind of work is needed to provide my 30-40 minute of enjoyment everytime)..and I'm not interested even in the accuracy (both your courses have pro and cons, and i'm pretty sure they are just consequences of some conscious choice). After this stupid premise, i wish to say to you just this : Although I find that both are great courses..for some reason your work in this course touches something inside me that the other course can't touch. Is something transmitted by the colors, something in the planting that grows slowly and then explodes in that absurd transition from the forest to those two par three holes breaking down into the sea..there's something lyric in the way you captured and then show the difference. I closed my round smiling without a chance to understand why. I realized it a bit better, more consciously, after I played both the courses again last night. Furthermore, what I would say exactly is that, playing some time ago even every versions of your Mein-Nochturs, I had already noticed this things you put on your courses...and even in your Psypress Point this was clear to my eyes (in a certain way, in Psypress Point this thing is almost more evident. I can be mad but it could be the best version of this course on so many sides...) that you have the really rare talent to don't create simply courses. In the recreation of Cypress Point I can feel the soul of an artist. I know it can sounds an absolutely stupid thing to say..but I see every day great real courses..sometimes technically absolutely stunning..but you put something different in your work and I wish just to tell you that I can feel it. And I tell you this thing cause.. maybe is just an impression absolutely wrong that I have, but you seem to be a bit deluded..or sad..about your work..but trust me if I say that I think we need designers like you..and yes..even to create real courses. The technique can be learned. The knowledge and the feeling needed to put pieces of soul in a work is something that you have or you have not. You got it. I have not idea of what kind of guy you are, what is your work or your passions, but for some reason i feel that i could really appreciate you as a person and artist, if I could know you a bit better. I'm sure of this. Anyway..and in any case..thanks for your work. Ah..i still have to play this new course so this comment here is doubly stupid, but I wish to say this thing by weeks. Now I did it. Sorry if it sounded just a stupid thing. Good weekend and good golf

The XBox Friendly (hopefully) has been updated and a few bunker fixes and other things that I noticed while checking again....
Special thanks to Yeltzman and others, for helping test the course and getting it to work for their older consoles. Hopefully this cured most of the problems ... for loading/playing on the older XBox systems.
The Reserve@Spanos Park (L) XBF version is released ...
I recommend that this be the standard play version.

ahecht415 I know it!! I played it probably immediately when you published it. Working on a list of real courses just in these days is easy for me to stay focused on the new courses..no counting the fact that I was waiting for it really badly. I played it and I checked it. Is a great work, really accurate. Maybe the only difference in some way noticeable with the real course is the fairway dimension on hole 15, a bit too narrow compared with the real..but in any other aspect, is a great work. Thank you so much for this gem. I'm going slowly to play all your other courses. I follow your work. Ah..i'll exploit the situation ti ask you this : Your Stonetree Lidar is the recreation of the golf course in CA or in TX? (knowing this I'll spend less time when I'll going to check it ) And in your courses there is some crowds or not? Thank you, for your work and for the message. Appreciated a lot

But there's not a thread started, so I answered to him where he asked. Actually ahecht415 it would be also a good idea (in every case, I mean) to start a thread for any of your course published. Is also a good way to publicize your courses..with no need to invade other threads. Anyway..my bad here. Sorry again
