chadgolf Hey, if we do everything with the LiDAR and it comes through your program and everything works, but when its clicked on in the game editor it comes up with an error. Does this mean it will not work? Thanks Dwain

Try exporting the course file cleanly again. It can take a while so if you go into the game too soon, it can read a half finished file and not know what to do.
Other times I've seen this is if OSM Trees and Lidar Trees are used, if the golf holes have letters for par or -1 for par or something.

edit; My particular encounter with this error is resolved. I ended up deleting the course, heightmap, mask and entire "unpacked" folder. I dropped a fresh course file into the folder and re-ran TGC Golf Tools and started over from scratch. I now have lidar trees and no more HB-RS[1702] error!
Sorry to resurrect this. The error code I see is HB-RS[1702] I'm working on my first lidar course and simply cannot use the "Add trees from lidar" option. Not using OSM woods/trees and the option is unchecked. Have tried the workarounds per this post and other mentions of it in several YouTube videos. I'm wondering if it is due to the quantity of trees and just exceeding the edit limit? My mask is pretty tight but I've been meaning to try and adjust it a bit tighter around the course.
