Can we all agree, left or right, that this presidency has had more dossiers and investigations than any since Nixon, and that's a bad thing. Yes, absolutely! But obviously this should be balanced with the fact that Bill Clinton was paid handsomely for a speech by a Russian bank 9 years ago. They're probably all just as bad as each other, I expect, so there's no point holding him to account really... |

And those times he's wrong, well bankruptcy ain't so bad. Currently we're in the middle of witnessing what happens you translate that "strategy" to the whole country... interesting times, maybe you'll get lucky... |

This is an opinion piece....not my opinion but I agree completely with what was written I'm always wary of "old-fartism" - it was better in my day etc. - but this does feel like it's ramping up exponentially in recent years. We've all seen the horror shows of plastic surgery - but now seeing men inject their muscles with oil...  Instagram filters and manipulation tools are off the hook (see the subreddit InstagramReality for more of this sh%$)...  In the pursuit of the perfect selfie, people have accidentally destroyed priceless works of arts, animals, themselves. A plane crash was attributed to the pilot taking a selfie mid-flight  . And in almost all cases those people have been entirely disconnected from the way more beautiful thing they were nominally photographing in the background... We're living in the age of the ego. And while my liberal leanings say "so what, each to their own" - it's clear the damaging effects can be felt more widespread in society... "People at war with themselves will always cause collateral damage to those around them". |

He really is amazing. I am especially impressed with how he can occupy the greatest office in the country and still not be able to string together a coherent sentence - that takes a lot of talent. And class! Taste! Second to none. Over-cooked well-done steaks with ketchup! Cold Big Macs and fries served in the White House to visiting sports champions! Telling the world that there are very fine neo-Nazis! You just don't get classier than that!

Been away for a few days a.) because of what happened in the old thread and b.) I’ve been in the middle of West Virginia with no internet so just now reading through this. Anyways, I’d definitely like to echo Paul’s comments on the first page- even if we disagree, this is no place for name-calling. While we all can get very passionate, it’s important to remember that we have this discussion out of love for the world. So please... respect each other! Oh and have I mentioned how wonderful Trump is?  |

I'm selling my house . Getting ready for election year and a possible Democrat to win. Buying land as well. Put some solar panels or windmills on it. My wife being a nurse is thinking of pulling out of it after 20 plus years with free health care possible.
Time for change.
