It was disastrous as expected (+31) - lots of sand - too much sand, water, missed 3 feet putts (at least two). The result of spending the majority og time in the designer rather than playing.. (right now, it is fun with Harbour Town) (for those that commented on 10-20 feet putts for the unrealistic gang, well - that is nothing, 53-56 feet is nothing out of the ordinary when I play golf).

So I played R1 with Gav's ghost. I had him by one stroke at the turn, but then he eagled from 210 yds and I never caught up. It was indeed my short game that came up, well, short. Pull a chip and watch the ball roll 14 ft away from the hole; bogey and 2 shots down. Misread a chip shot rollout and miss a straight 10 ft putt for birdie that looked like it broke about 6" right to left; par and 3 shots down. (I also missed a couple 8-12 ft. birdie putts along the way.) 7 birdies, 3 bogeys. Finish R1 at -4. #DoBetterNextTime LOL, that's still a very good score (for a senior citizen). I would take an under par round on Bellerive any time.

My stats reveal my weakest areas: Medium putts usually 50-60% and scrambling always less than 50%. Fortunately my tee-to-green is pretty good, so the scrambling thing only costs me a couple/three shots per round. ChipOnward!

Round 1 was ok except for the German I took on the 7th (Rinse, repeat, 3 jack). If it wasn't for that I would be only 2 over.

R2 at Bellerive: -1
At least a half a dozen par putts from less than a foot. So frustrating!
R3: Sailing along nicely at -4 until I decided to bogey 2 of the last 5 holes, apparently because I forgot that if you leave your putt short, 99.9% of the time it doesn’t go in the hole. -2.
So after 3 rounds, second place on PS4 at -7. Could be worse, but could be a lot better.

Paul is going to add more stats to the leaderboards; just to give us more stuff to track our progress and compare to other players. Just want to thank him again for all the work he does for us all. That's why this society is growing, because we keep thinking of ways to improve it. And you guys all keeping the thread super active with banter and stories of your rounds is a big contributor as well, keep it up

That's one way of looking at it. Another would be "I played very well that week, and was the best player, if it wasn't for that **** in 1st..."

I really need to figure out how to post a shot replay. Knocked in a 50+ foot putt in round 2 that broke about 3 feet and just trickled in the side door. Couldn't maintain the momentum, and ended the round at -3 to sit at -5 through 2 and only 10 shots behind gavlaar124 currently.

Calling all Xboxers, calling all Xboxers! We need an Xbox player who has magnolia in their favourites, otherwise might not be able to have the masters at Augusta! We would make you an admin for one week, and tell you how to set up the tournament for all Xbox players. (This is all due, of course, to HB's "fck you guys, we're banning magnolia" situation...) Sounds like you have it covered but just in case I have the ******* 19 pins and the ******* (Tour) in my favorites.
