Wade,
I hope your wife recovers quickly and fully. Will she be able to get off the blood thinners eventually? My daughter was on them for a while due to multiple pulmonary embolisms. She felt so much better overall once she was able to stop taking them.
I understand about keeping your personal life separate from your online life. Guys from our generation were raised to keep the private stuff private. Sometimes, though, it's good to vent and to get some kind and supportive words back. The guys here, for all their silliness at times, are a really good group when it counts the most.
Welcome back to USE!

@sirwade59 My friend I am saddened then filled with joy reading your post, huzzah for a continued recovery for your wife and for your return to USE. Remember we old F'ers will always be around for support in one way or another. @andersnm I have used the loftbox in my CC rounds but ONLY with the driver (tee it high to watch it fly!) and never to attempt a fade or draw as i use my mouse to attempt that kind of movement (when it works its a beautiful thing, when it doesn't...) But it is just as easy to not use It as that quickens the pace by simplifying play Looking forward to another name on the USE PC LB! Thank you for the kind words Art! As you would say, Onward!

It was fun to be part of the rivalries and friendships that developed. It made the Challenge Circuit enjoyable, which it wouldn't have been otherwise. How else could we have enjoyed placing 56th, 58th and 79th every week? Signed, 79th place finisher.

Jeff, you dirty old man lol! I would agree that USE is the best way to play this game. It is so much like real golf with all the assists turned off. I have an apology to issue to the USE community. I was having a great time playing up until a few months ago. I am a reserved person and don't like to put my issues out in the open. My wife was having blood clots and a small piece of a clot traveled up into her eye. During testing the Drs. discovered my wife had a hole in her heart. This is how the clot escaped to her eye. They would have to perform a procedure called a Cardiac Catheterization. They enter both thighs and install an umbrella type device in the heart to patch the hole. The Drs. stated that even though it is a relatively routine procedure, the risks involved included a stroke, heart attack or even death. I was going to stop playing TGC all together. After about a week I was enduring too much stress thinking about my wife's upcoming procedure. I needed something to take my mind off things but it needed to be stress free. Playing with Master clubs on the XB1 is stressful to me. So I decided to go back to playing TGC but using Pro clubs. Since I didn't feel it would be fair for me to use Pro clubs on the USE tour, I dropped out. My wife's procedure was the longest few hours of my life. The surgery was a success with no complications. The Drs. put her on XARELTO and presently she is doing fantastic! This is a great community that is very uplifting with tons of comradery! I just wanted to let the community know why I dropped out. It is great to be playing USE with Master clubs again! Sincerely, Wade Wade I have to say I was a bit gutted not to see your name on the leaderboard for a while as I know you are as passionate about the sim style we play here as any of us. Really happy to see you back on the leaderboard these past weeks and even happier to hear your wife is on the mend, great news. Thank You Hamers1man! I appreciate that and I'm happy to be back! Now if only I could shoot low scores lol

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, it's just the way it was for us. Drs. said it's too early to tell how long she will be on the blood thinners. The impression I got was for the rest of her life but we shall see.

It is quite recent that I stopped using the grid and putting marker, so expect to see me at the bottom of the leaderboards (shooting well over par is the norm these days). Anyway, thanks for the welcome from everyone.

great to see new names on the PC leaderboard. welcome @andersnm !
Also, does anyone know, is there a way to turn off the score thing that shows up after each hole and before the next tee? I looked but couldn't find it if it is there.
I know it sounds crazy, but I play better if I don't know what the up to minute score is. I just want to play my game and not know everyone else's till the end. I try to look away when it comes up, but every match, at some point I forget and accidentally see it. LOL

I don’t see my name on either leaderboard. I played both. Is this a special leaderboard since it is for handicaps?

You just need to get into a habit of just keep clicking the advance button after each hole.
