This is a course I built for the Dream Team Contest, as a member of Team Sindre. If you are unfamiliar with this contest, two captains (Chantres and Sindre) chose 11 designers a piece for their teams in a draft. We have been working on the courses individually, with team messages and discords to share pics and get advice, but no file sharing is allowed (us xboxers are always jealous of that anyway). I posted the link to the contest below, there are some haymakers coming from both sides.

Welcome to Far Water Golf Club. Far Water is a fictional island that sits in the North Sea, on the eastern side of the Shetland Islands in northern Scotland. When oil was discovered there in the 1950s, this previously sleepy fishing village became home to roughnecks and oilmen from around the world. The boom led to more commercial ships, as well as the creation of a golf course by a Texas oilman. After he established an offshore drilling rig and company headquarters on the island (which eventually was bought out by Exxon Mobil), he then built a golf course that rolls through the hills and cliffs of the island offering many challenging undulations. There are 3 tee sets and 4 pins and at 7366 yards from the tips, the course offers a good challenge to all levels of golfers.
....Enough of all that. Here are some pics. Hoping karma4u can give it a spin and offer up some even better pics, but here is what I have come up with for now.
For the fishing village, I was inspired by Tobermory (left) and Portree(right), two small fishing villages in Scotland.
This project was lots of fun and a great way to dip my toe into the design contest area without having the pressure of the shorter deadline in an official contest. I really feel like it prepared me for future contests and gave me confidence in being able to finish on a deadline. Excited to see the others courses I have been able to get sneak peaks of on Team Sindre over the last couple of months, and to see what Team Trayys can pull off to match it. Really fun idea, kudos to Chantres for coming up with the idea and of course to SindreRev for picking me for your squad. Any comments or critiques are welcomed, always looking to get better as I have already started on the next project.
